Sisters for lunch

We were able to have the Sister Missionaries over to teach us how to cook.  There are 4 of them.  They are seriously the best.  Lunch was amazing.  They taught us how to make mutton curry and coconut rice.  Since there were four of them, they also whipped together butter naan, a dessert made from Mong dal and swept our floors.  They are the seventh set of visitors we have had at our house since we moved here.  It’s crazy to think that not many people have been to our house, but we live outside of the main city and Covid has prevented many from going anywhere.  It was great to visit with them.

We told our kids all the sisters made something. One made the naan and dessert. Another made the mutton curry.  The third cooked the coconut rice.  And this cute sister made a clean kitchen. She was awesome. She even swept our house while they cooked.

Preparing all the vegetables

The mutton had to marinate in spices and curd for an hour before cooking.

Busy working.  It’s a small kitchen. It was tight with 6 of us in there.
