Summer

It’s officially summer here. Summer runs from March until June. Temperatures can reach up to 104 degrees. The forecast shows 100 Fahrenheit for the coming days. We are used to hot days in the summer but have always had air conditioning to thwart it. Since the temperatures only cool down into the low 70s at night, it’s hard to cool the house down. The most comfortable part of the day is before 11 am. The afternoons are hot! 

We are keeping cool by spending some time at the pool.  Unfortunately, it’s only open from 8-12 and 4-8 pm. The afternoon would be a perfect time to go as school is done and it’s so hot.  We usually get the pool to ourselves.  Enjoy the pictures from the pool.
