House Tour Outside

We live in a beautiful place. Right now we are headed from the rainy season into winter. It’s rained a lot but the days are drying out and we hear it will cool down. This time of year the low is 73 and the high 89. That sounds nice, but the humidity is 95% in the morning which means we have serious fog until it burns off.  We stay indoors most of the day.  Actually, there are some days the kids don’t leave the house.  We are working on that.  It’s hot, they don’t have friends, and we don’t have anything for them to do outside.

Our phase is just two streets that form an off-centered T. There are three other completed houses and two that have been started. We are the only ones who are living here. There are two other phases to the north of us and two other phases to the east which we haven’t explored yet. They cover 132 acres total. It’s touted as self contained communities. At some point, they will have parks, a school and shopping.  Right now there is a pool, club house, tennis court, a laundry business, and a badminton court.

Here are some pictures of our street and “park”.

Our yard is filled with things we can eat.  We have 2 banana trees, 2 young coconut trees, 20 Brinjal plants, a pomegranate bush and cassava plants.

Here is a video from our roof.

Reminds me of being on the island of Puerto Rico 🇵🇷. Humidity so thick you can cut it with a butter knife.
